The Brighton Dome is a Grade 1 Listed Arts Centre in Brighton, Sussex, England. It comprises of a Concert Hall, Theatre and an old Corn Exchange. It is part of the Pavilion Estate and is linked via tunnel to the Pavilion Gardens. The Dome itself is striking and is home to a famous pipe organ, built in 1870. Interestingly in the war it was used to house wounded Indian soldiers who it was thought would feel more at home in the surroundings. It has also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest and premiered Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’.
