This beautiful art deco theatre has stood the test of time and is unique because it had a large 35 foot deep stage, an excellent fan shaped auditorium, twenty dressing rooms, a Compton 4 Manual theatre organ and a restaurant up on the balcony. To Londoners it will always be the Hammersmith Apollo, however, it has taken various official names over the years; Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith Odeon and Labatt’s Apollo. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Bob Marley have played here and the impressive line-up of artists continues with the likes of Billy Joel, Paul Weller, Jimmy Carr, Pixies, Russell Brand, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Sean Lock and Jason Manford amongst others.
